Dr. Jira Yammeesri (Ph.D., University of Wollongong, Australia) is a lecturer in the School of Accountancy at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. During 2004-2007. she worked as a full-time lecturer at the School of Accountancy with Massey University, New Zealand. She is interested in the following research areas:

  • Corporate Governance & ICT Governance
  • Managerial Accounting
  • Accounting Information Systems

She is currently working on several projects in the areas of corporate governance, ownership structure, board composition, earnings management, financial reporting quality and accounting information systems.

  • Ontology-Driven Accounting Information Systems (with Dr. Seung Hwan Kang) has been granted for conducting the research and salary supplement from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC).
  • Board Structure and Firm Value (with Kanthi S.)
  • Earnings management, Title: Earnings Quality in International Settings: Comparative Study of Japan, Thailand and the U.S.A (with Asheq Raman and Hector Perera) has been granted for Research Fund from Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand 2007. The fund is available from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008.
